Nonprofit Resources
We are committed to supporting our nonprofits and the vital work they do for Sandusky County residents.
You are the visionaries. The hard workers. The people who make change happen in our communities. That’s why we’re dedicated to finding innovative and collaborative ways to support your work.
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation inspires hope, leadership, and generosity in our communities by:
bringing economic stability,
professional development,
and collaboration to the nonprofit sector.
Economic Stability
Endowments
Starting an Endowed Fund allows nonprofits to receive consistent, predictable income, empowering them to be sustainable and resilient, and better weather unpredictable fluctuations in donations, grants, and other revenue streams.
Grants
The SCCF provides grant opportunities for nonprofits that work to fill the community’s most pressing needs in, but not limited to, Arts and Humanities, Community Development, Education, Environment, Health and Social Services, and Youth Services.

Collaboration
SCCF Site Visits
The SCCF began nonprofit site visits with organizations to learn more about their mission, organization, and residents in which they serve. The SCCF will then share resources that are available to the nonprofit through the Foundation or other organizations and share a picture and brief description of the nonprofit on the Foundation’s social media pages. .
Nonprofit Collaborative
The SCCF launched the Nonprofit Collaborative in 2023. The goal of the collaborative is to build relationships and facilitate networking between nonprofit professionals, create opportunities for peer discussion around best practices, and brainstorm ways that organizations can work together to help increase productivity and eliminate barriers to growth.
