Below is a list of Sandusky County Communities Foundation Funds to which you may want to contribute. There is no need to create or log into a Paypal account to contribute with your credit card.
If you prefer to send a check please make it out to SCCF and write the fund name to which you are contributing in the memo portion. Mail to SCCF, 1245 Napoleon St., Fremont, Ohio, 43420.
We will send a gift acknowledgement letter for your records within a few days of receiving your contribution. All gifts will be reported to the fundholder or designated organization. If you wish to be anonymous please let us know.

To provide general operating funds to our Foundation; to support our mission of connecting people who care with causes that matter in Sandusky County.
The Art & Lisa Bucci Swimming & Diving Scholarship Fund
To provide a scholarship for a graduating high school senior/s at Fremont Ross High School who has been a swimmer or diver for at least one year, and who will enroll in a post-secondary education of their choice.
Bellevue Rotary STRIVE Scholarship
To provide support for a STRIVE Scholarship, administered through the Bellevue Chapter of Rotary International.
The Big Nut Scholarship Fund - Terese Marie and Jon Paul Peters
As Woody Hayes, legendary OSU Coach, would say, “Pay It Forward.” That is what the Peters are doing with this scholarship fund to provide scholarships to a graduating senior, each, from Fremont Ross, St. Joseph Central Catholic, Gibsonburg, Kansas Lakota, Clyde, Bellevue, Woodmore and Old Fort High Schools in Ohio who show excellence in academics and community service and must attend The Ohio State University upon graduation.

Memorial Scholarship
To provide a scholarship for a male, graduating senior at Fremont Ross High School who has participated in the boys’ basketball program.
Building Community Together
To provide awards to Sandusky County youth-driven initiatives that are connected to charitable organizations that benefit the residents of Sandusky County.
Building Community Together (BCT) Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships for the benefit of one or more graduating seniors or current college/graduate students who are or have been in the past, a member of Building Community Together.
Charles and Donna Foss Charitable Fund
To create and provide support for the Charles and Donna Foss Charitable Fund and make distributions to qualifying charitable organizations as advised by the creator of this fund.
Christy Farm Nature Preserve
To provide support to preservation and improvement of the buildings and grounds of the Christy Farm Nature Preserve of the Sandusky County Park District.
Clyde Grange # 364
To make an annual distribution to Sandusky County Positive People to include in their High School Positive Living Award.
Earl E. Warnke Memorial Scholarship
To provide support to a graduating senior from Port Clinton High School who must then go on to perform in a band program at a post-secondary, accredited university.
Fremont Kiwanis Club Endowment
To provide support for the Fremont Kiwanis Club Endowment Fund.
Foster Children Independent Living Fund
To provide support for children aging out of foster care lacking the needed supports to successfully live independently. The funds are used for costs associated with setting up housing and securing employment and are administered through the Sandusky County Department of Job & Family Services
Fremont Pickle Growers Association Fund
To provide support to The Ohio State University Extension Service and other qualifying organizations for the benefit of agricultural education.
Fremont Ross Alumni and Friends Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships to support an underserved graduating senior or seniors from Fremont Ross High School.
Fremont Sesquicentennial Association Scholarship
To provide support to a graduating senior from Fremont Ross High School or St. Joe Central Catholic High School, attending a two or four-year degree program at an accredited institution of higher education.
Goodwill Industries of Erie, Huron, Ottawa, and Sandusky Counties
To provide current support and long term protection for the operations of Goodwill Industries.
Lakota Music Boosters Scholarship Fund
To support a graduating senior or seniors from Lakota High School, Kansas, Ohio to further their education at an accredited post-secondary educational institution of their choice.
Lee N. Koenig Family Foundation Fund
To create and provide support for the Lee N. Koenig Family Foundation Fund and make distributions to qualifying charitable organizations as advised by the creator of this fund.
Mary Brady Scholarship Fund
To provide a scholarship to law school for worthy young people from Sandusky County, and funding for continuing legal education.
Mental Health Fund
To fund initiatives which address mental health issues for the residents of Sandusky County.
Mike Piero Scholarship Teamwork Athletic
Recreation (STAR) Fund
To provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from Fremont Ross High School or St. Joseph Central Catholic
High School.
Pamela Graver-Koenig Memorial Fund
To provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from Woodmore High School.
Sacred Heart Catholic Church Family Faith Formation Fund
To develop a pastoral based ministry that fosters the total personal and spiritual growth of families.
Sandusky County AG Society Organization Endowment
To provide a continuous stream of funds to be used for maintenance of the property at the fair grounds.
Sandusky County Park District
Provides support for the programs and projects of the Sandusky County Park District.
Sandusky County Park District Nature Center
To construct, furnish, and provide ongoing support for the Sandusky County Park District Nature Center.

Memorial Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships to students wishing to attend Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School Fremont, Ohio, and to graduates of Saint Joseph Central Catholic High School to further their education at a post-secondary educational institution.
Sarah Jean Luse Memorial Fund
To create and provide support for the Sarah Jean Luse Memorial Fund and make distributions to qualifying charitable organizations as advised by the creator of this fund.
St. Francis Care Centre Foundation of Green Springs Scholarship
To provide scholarships to students currently enrolled in health care education, pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or higher degree program, who have graduated from a Sandusky County high school in Ohio.
United Way of Sandusky County Organizational Endowment
To provide support for an organizational endowment fund for the benefit of United Way of Sandusky County.
The Walters Boiler Works Catholic Skilled
Trade Scholarship
To provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Bishop Hoffman Catholic School, who will be entering a Community College in a skilled trade field.
The Walters Boiler Works Skilled Trade Scholarship
To provide scholarships to graduating seniors at Vanguard-Sentinal Career and Technology Center, who will be entering a Community College in a skilled trade field.
William Krumnow Scholarship Fund
To provide scholarships to a graduating senior at Fremont Ross High School.
The Dick and Barb Berger Athletic Scholarship and Charitable Fund
To provide Athletic Scholarships to graduating seniors from Fremont Ross, St. Joseph Central Catholic, Margaretta, Oak Harbor, Port Clinton, Bellevue and Clyde High Schools.
The Fred Dafler & Rick Haddix Scholarship Fund
To provide support to an individual planning to attend or already enrolled in a college, university, or institute of higher learning as a full-time student, or an individual planning to attend or already involved in a career or technical educational program. The candidate must be a member or a relative of a member of the Ohio Track and Field and Cross Country Officials Association.
Matt McCabe Memorial Fund
The Matt McCabe Memorial Fund seeks to support students at Sandusky County Schools and Colleges in easing the required costs of non-classroom experiences. These out-of-classroom experiences often add expense to student budgets, the fund will provide money to education institutions to allocate to students in need.
SCCF Discretionary Fund
This fund is to provide grant opportunities to nonprofits that serve Sandusky County residents.
