Communities Foundation Awards $90,946.18 to Local Organizations
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2022 Community Grants. For the fourteenth consecutive year, the Foundation has awarded grants to non-profit organizations for projects that benefit Sandusky County residents. These awards total more than $1,007,000.
This year 20 community organizations were awarded a total of $90,946.18. The recipients include Animal House Sober Club, Bellevue Recreation Club, Bishop Hoffman Catholic Schools, Chamber Foundation of Sandusky County, City of Clyde, Fremont Community Theatre & Literary Society, Fremont Rotary Foundation, Inc., Heartbeat Hope Medical, Liberty Center of Sandusky County, Pontifex, Inc.,R.B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museum, Sandco Industries, Sandusky County Habitat for Humanity, Sandusky County Historical Society, Sandusky County Park District, Sandusky Township Fire Dept., Sight Center of NWOH/Toledo Society for the Blind, Stemtown Historical Society, Trinity United Methodist Church and Village House of NOW, Inc. Additionally, the Foundation awarded $82,700.00 in scholarships.
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1998 and provides a local vehicle for donor directed and community-based giving. Since its inception the Foundation has facilitated nearly $3.8 million in local awards.
