Communities Foundation Awards $80,992.43 to Local Organizations
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2021 Community Grants. For the thirteenth consecutive year, the Foundation has awarded grants to nonprofit organizations for projects that benefit Sandusky County residents. These awards total nearly than $906,000.00
This year 18 community organizations were awarded a total of $80,992.43. The recipients include Animal House Sober Club, Bellevue Historical Society, Camp Fire Sandusky County, City of Clyde, Community Fortress, Imagine For Youth, Kiwanis Club of Fremont, R.B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museum, Sandco Industries, Sandusky County AG Society, Sandusky County Park District, Sandusky County Young Professionals, Stemtown Historical Society, Teen Leadership Corps, Terra College Foundation, Terra State Community College, Village of Gibsonburg and the Village of Lindsey. Additionally, the Foundation awarded $33,800.00 in scholarships this year.
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1998 and provides a local vehicle for donor directed and community-based giving. Since its inception the Foundation has facilitated nearly $3.4 million in local awards.
