Guidelines for Grant Seekers
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation is a public charitable organization created by the citizens of our community. Our mission is to enhance the well-being of the people and communities of Sandusky County by managing permanent investments for philanthropic goals. Grants support the community needs including, but not limited to, Arts and Humanities, Community Development, Education, Environment, Health and Social Services, and Youth Services. Youth driven service projects are also encouraged to apply to Building Community Together, the youth division of the Sandusky County Communities Foundation.
We encourage projects that:
-
Enhance cooperation and collaboration among Sandusky County organizations, thereby eliminating duplication of services.
-
Strengthen the organization’s capacity to serve the community.
-
Leverage other resources and demonstrate sustainability through additional funding from a broad base of supporters.
-
Yield substantial community benefits and serve a broad segment of the community.
