Communities Foundation Awards $71,996.24 to Local Organizations
The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2019 Community Grants. For the eleventh consecutive year, the Foundation has awarded grants to non-profit organizations for projects that benefit Sandusky County residents. These awards total more than $746,000.

This year 15 community organizations were awarded a total of $71,996.24. The recipients include Bellevue Historical Society, Bellevue Recovery & Support Services, Bishop Hoffman Catholic Schools, Camp Fire Sandusky County, Chamber Foundation of Sandusky County, Fremont Community Theater, Fremont Fire Department, Gibsonburg Exempted School District, Lindsey Volunteer Fire Department, R.B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museum, Rec Club-City of Bellevue Parks & Recreation, Sandco Industries, Clyde Heritage League fbo Sandusky County Bicentennial 2020, Village of Gibsonburg and the Village of Lindsey. Additionally, the Foundation awarded $24,900.00 in scholarships this year.

The Sandusky County Communities Foundation, Inc. was founded in 1998 and provides a local vehicle for donor directed and community based giving. Since its inception the Foundation has facilitated nearly $2.8 million in local awards.
